Using AI Effectively
A practical, hands-on online workshop for beginners — from barely tried it to confident enough to use it tomorrow.
Using AI Effectively is a practical, small-group training course held in person at Network Hub, 300 Kensal Road, London W10 5BE, led by Fola Yahaya of SA Training (Strategic Agenda). The course runs as a 2-hour session with a maximum of 10 participants and is designed for General office workers through to middle managers who are new to AI tools. No technical background or prior AI experience needed — designed for complete beginners, though participants who are further along will be paired with less confident colleagues to help everyone..
AI tools are now part of everyday working life, but most people have never been shown how to use them well — and for beginners they can feel intimidating or underwhelming. This session removes that barrier. We start from scratch, building a clear, jargon-free picture of what these tools actually are, so participants understand where they help, where they fall short, and why. The bulk of the time is hands-on and gentle: how to ask for what you want clearly, give the right context, and improve a disappointing answer rather than giving up on it. Participants practise on real tasks from their own roles, so they leave with something they can use the same day. We also cover the essentials of using AI responsibly — protecting confidential information and spotting when an AI has simply made something up. The aim is for everyone, whatever their starting point, to leave more confident and more capable than they arrived.
