Editorial QA and Source Verification with AI

Catch errors before clearance with AI-assisted quality checks, citation checking and a verification protocol you can trust.

Editorial QA and Source Verification with AI is a practical, small-group training course held in person at Network Hub, 300 Kensal Road, London W10 5BE, led by Gerald Clark and Fola Yahaya of SA Training (Strategic Agenda). The course runs as a 7-hour session with a maximum of 10 participants and is designed for Editors, QA reviewers, researchers and knowledge-management teams responsible for accuracy before publication — especially in development, humanitarian and policy organisations..

A full-day workshop on the parts of editing where AI mistakes do the most damage. You set up a QA-checker Gem that runs your editorial checklist — terminology, figures, acronyms, inclusive language, consistency — and returns comments for a person to resolve. Then, in NotebookLM, you build a source-check notebook that answers only from the sources loaded and shows where each answer comes from. A planted-error exercise shows what Gemini catches, what it misses, and what must always be checked by hand, including whether a reference exists or says what is claimed. We also cover what content should and should not go into AI tools.
